Bob Bonwell opened the doors to Advantage in Oct. 1984. With his passion for providing innovative carpet cleaning and restoration products, equipment, and education, he quickly grew Advantage to be known as the Experts in Clean.

Today, Advantage has three locations in Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana and a robust online store. Bob has always focused on ensuring the highest level of customer service and care, treating every customer as if they are a part of his own family.

Advantage offers more than products in the industry. As innovators, they continue to stay ahead of industry trends and needs in order to provide services and education that help individuals who are interested in starting a carpet cleaning or restoration business to providing the latest cleaning techniques to the most seasoned businesses in the industry. With a philosophy built on top-notch service, Advantage also provides equipment servicing at each location.

Bob’s daughter, Kristen, is now President of Advantage and his son, Mike, Senior Product Specialist. Bob remains active in the business serving as Chairman.
